Smart Battery Sense is a wireless battery voltage and temperature sensor for Victron MPPT Solar Chargers.
With voltage and temperature sense in place, batteries will be better charged; improving charging efficiency and prolonging battery life.
Improves battery charging
By measuring the voltage at the battery bank terminals, errors arising from voltage loss due to cable resistance are avoided – guaranteeing the correct charge voltage.
For lead batteries, battery temperature data is used to adjust the charge-voltages: cold batteries require an increased charge-voltage, whereas hot batteries require a decreased charge-voltage. For lithium batteries temperature data is used to disable charging when they are too cold: charging lithium batteries near or below freezing causes permanent damage to the cells.
Look no wires
The connection between Smart Battery Sense and one or more Solar Charger(s) is wireless: It uses VE.Smart Network – a wireless technology based on Bluetooth Smart.
Information transmitted can be used simultaneously by one, two or more Solar Chargers connected to the same 12V, 24V and 48V battery bank. The Smart Network is set up using the VictronConnect app.
Tidy, simple – smart
Installation is simple, quick and tidy. Just connect the unit’s two eyelets to your battery terminals and attach the Smart Battery Sense unit directly onto the battery body using its self-adhesive strip.
Warehouse Pickup:
You have the option of selecting warehouse pickup for most of our products. To facilitate this process, please ensure that your order is paid in full online prior to pickup. If you’re interested in in-store pickup at our partner warehouses across the United States, please feel free to reach out to us. Pickup hours are Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM PST. An email confirmation will be dispatched to you once your order is ready for pickup.
Shipping Services:
The majority of items will be shipped using USPS and UPS services.
We offer a variety of shipping options. On occasion, a third-party supplier may oversee our inventory and handle the shipping of your products. Northwest SCADA and its Partners retain the right to select the courier for shipping, regardless of the choice made at checkout. It’s important to note that Northwest SCADA cannot guarantee specific courier shipping time frames, and any delays occurring after the product has left our or our partners’ warehouse are beyond our control.
Free Shipping:
As of now, Northwest SCADA does not provide free shipping within the United States.
Single Solar Module Shipping Policy:
To acquire Solar Modules from Northwest SCADA, a minimum order of 4 modules is mandatory. By placing an order for fewer than 4 modules, you automatically agree to the terms of single module shipping. It is crucial to comprehend that Northwest SCADA does not assume liability for damages that may transpire during shipping, and the company does not supply replacement modules in such instances. Your cooperation with and adherence to this policy are sincerely appreciated.
Order Delay Scenario:
Kindly note that Northwest SCADA cannot assure specific courier shipping time frames and bears no responsibility for any delays in shipping after the product has left either our warehouse or that of our partners.

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a refund only. Please see below for more information on our return policy.
RETURNS
Currently Northwest SCADA is not offering any return policy. All sales are final once they have departed our warehouses. Orders may be canceled before they ship at no cost. All returns will be a per order based approval. Contact your sales rep for details or to request a return.
If a return is approve the below standards MUST be met.
Exemptions apply on some orders. See below for more details on orders that are exempt from our return policy.
Solar Panel Return Policy
All solar panel sales are final. No returns, no refunds. No Exceptions. If you have any questions about a product before purchase, please contact us.
Other Orders
All Orders over $10000 are final. Northwest SCADA and its partners reserve the right to refuse a return and/or exchange on any order regardless of order amount. A 35% restocking fee applies to all returns.
RETURN PROCESS
To return an item, please email customer service at hello@northwestscada.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving a RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase, then mail your return to the following address:

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.
REFUNDS
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return and issue a refund. Please allow at least thirty (30) days from the receipt of your item to process your return. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed and completed on our end.
Northwest SCADA is charged a fee of 2.7% + $0.30 on each order. Northwest SCADA reserves the right to withhold this credit card processing fee from any refund they choose.

Any items not covered by the manufacture warranty above is covered by Northwest SCADA’s Limited 1 Year Warranty.
We want our customers to be confident in the products they purchase from us, which is why we offer a 1 year warranty on all of our products that are not covered by manufacture specified warranties below. In the event that something goes wrong, the buyer will only need to pay for return shipping.
Products that are damaged outside of the manufactures listed warranty specifications will not be covered under the warranty.
Solar Panel Warranty
All solar panels are backed by the solar panel manufactures warranty.
